From the Film Industry game I have learnt that it competitive because Hollywood dominates it due to the fact that they can:

• Easy to make money
• Lots of equipment and lots resource to produce films
• Steals ideas to make money
• Pirate effects make Hollywood much more

However when your an independant film industry it might be hard because

• They have to make a choice wether to sellout or not
• But easy to make a film with a company

Also I know that the technology that film industry used have a huge impact on how well to movie is made.
